Your Legal Advocate and Friend
Representing you in a lawsuit is something I take very seriously. I recognize that being involved in a lawsuit is stressful. Throughout the process, I am not only your legal advocate fighting to get you fair compensation for your injuries and damages, I am also here to help you navigate what is often one of your most challenging life events. I believe the most rewarding part of being an attorney is the opportunity I have to help others through these difficult times.
What to Expect
Because I am not focused on growing into a large impersonal law firm, you will never see a TV commercial or billboard for the Ledford Law Firm. Most of my clients come to me based on a recommendation from people I know such as former clients or other attorneys. Past clients and attorneys (including previous adversaries) know firsthand my character, abilities, and tenacity. I greatly value every person who has entrusted me to represent their family member, friend, neighbor, or co-worker.
Selective for a Reason
My practice is not a high volume practice which means I don’t take every case and I don’t represent clients I don’t believe in. By being selective and keeping my caseload smaller, I am able to invest the time, energy, and financial resources in each case to achieve the best result for my client. I do this by preparing the case for trial and diligently working up the case during the discovery period. While the statistics show the vast majority of lawsuits settle before trial, I firmly believe that when a case is properly prepared for trial the settlement value of that case increases. And if the case does not settle, I am ready to argue the client’s case to a jury without delay.
